[ Damn, burn. Jesper keeps his mouth shut. Fine, if they're going to be mob bosses talking business, then he'll play bodyguard overseeing the proceedings. And try not to fidget because he sucks at playing it quiet, but this is for the mission. He already fucked one up, he doesn't have to make the same mistake twice. ]

Flashy enough to cause a scene. I'm not anticipating a firefight. All I want is to rouse suspicion.

[all the same, he's not unprepared for a fight. although from the looks of it, giorno isn't unprepared either.

while from one perspective it could be entertaining that giorno shoots jesper down, jesper is his to shoot down and otherwise treat poorly so like. step off, tbh.]

[i guess since jesper is being quiet anyway and this is a question for kaz ill just go again]

I'm not anticipating one. Is that a problem?

[ You should know Kaz Brekker plans for everything, but perhaps normal people don't know that and only Jesper knows Kaz's full reputation, so he can understand why his word might not be good enough. Jesper doubts anything he say will add to the discussion (and second-guessing Kaz is a quick way to the top of his shit list,) so he just keeps it simple and says what he's pretty sure Giorno's getting at. They don't need him for the whole plan anyway, that's what Jesper's for. (That possessiveness can go both ways, y'know.) ]

So you're in?

[it'll have to do. but kaz will remember this.]

Numbers would work in our favor.

[ Yes use Jesper's friends to make connections, that's a good plan tbqh. ]

Cool. A friend of yours?
steler: (and you a lad of eighteen)

[the jesper to giorno's kaz apparently. cute]

Have him contact me. I'll run the details past him. [gotta get all the ducks in a row] Do you need money for weapons or clothing?

[disguises tho!! also theyre rolling now so yolo]

He's your advisor.

[which he's definitely hearing as "employee" -- bosses deal with bosses lieutenants with lieutenants but like hell they'd deal with someone below them. business doesn't work that way. hierarchies don't work that way. and giorno has done enough posturing (being unwilling to help out in town aside) that kaz has the respect to treat him like an equal.

but if he needs to be reminded how gang business is conducted thats fine:]

He's your responsibility. The offer is on the table for you.
steler: (so let us stop talking falsely now)

[personal profile] steler 2016-11-22 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
[kaz shrugs, unphased honestly. being a barrel boss isn't about providing - it's about commerce. commerce is god, and trades are important. giorno was doing something for him. he could give money in return. if giorno doesn't want it, he certainly isn't going to offer again.]

I look forward to hearing from Polnareff.
steler: (find him find him)

I don't remember being asked to solve that problem.

[realtalk tho]

[ Even Jesper shrugs at one. It's not really their job to fix their bandit problem. It might not be his place to speak but he still cuts in. ]

Yeah, first we have to stop the mining. Having a planet blow up while I'm on it doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me.
