[Because Jesper is pretty. He hangs up without saying anything else, because who cares, and makes his way outside town limits. He moves differently, more quickly and with more attention to his surroundings, once he gets away from people, and by the time he spots them his knife has moved from his boot to the sleeve of his left arm and there's a spider with a cocktail of improbable venom's nesting unseen in his pocket. Just in case and all.]

[ They have a... unique friendship. In that Jesper considers Kaz his friend and Kaz.... doesn't. But it works out, I promise. Probably. Either way, they do work together efficiently, and there's a trust between them where they don't need things like friendship to have each other's back. Maybe you'll get to see it sometime, Gio.

That's correct. We'll stage a scene in town and then ride out and destroy things. We have some traditional items - dynamite, bomb-making supplies that sort of thing - but if you have any abilities that might help, that would be useful.

So he's pulling triple duty is what I mean. Just don't expect anything you tell Jesper to stay only with Jesper, unless you can bribe him with something more persuasive than Kaz's violence. ]
