i don't mind i'm not going to get annoyed with you papa i know you're listening to me and that's what matters i think i like talking about it with you because i think you sort of understand . . .
i don't know what it's like to love a lot and want to give your love to as many people as you can because some people don't have enough love and i have so much to give
and everyone learns it as one or the other it's just i don't know
for me i didn't have any reason to trust what i was taught so i made my own choices and i suppose in that way it's easier for me to say that i love everyone and i'm in love with a lot of people most of the time i'm always falling in love and i don't often fall out of it that's just how it is for me
[It's good to have these talks with Giorno. Or rather: if he's going to have these talks, it's good for him that he has them with Giorno, because Giorno and he are fairly similar in some regards. Something won't make sense right up until Giorno says a little phrase, and then it's like magic: not complete understanding, but at least a better grasp on the topic as a whole.
Like so: Giorno says I'm always falling in love with people, and he can appreciate that sentiment. He loves his friends dearly, all of them, and he's perfectly happy to express that love, because it's so easy.
Enter sexuality-- sexual attraction, and orientation, and all that-- makes it a bit trickier when he thinks of it in terms of himself. But he can at least appreciate where Giorno's coming from.]
yeah that makes sense
okay but giorno promise me
if some cute girl in her 20s comes here and you fall in love with her you gotta let me have first shot
i never really had time i mean i guess i could have in high school but it probably wouldnt have gone well there werent that many people in my village there's a distant memory of a bar in germany but frankly i was so drunk that doesn't count
tell me about DURING you can't just leave me without a story
also because i was SO DRUNK i really dont remember much it could have been flirting but it could have all been in my head i mean its germany who knows about standards there so: doesn't count
[IT'S TOO LATE, HE'S GONE actually, Giorno can probably hear him walking back and forth. He's not actually all that drunk, so it's not as if he's stumbling into walls-- but nor is Polnareff ever actually all that quiet, so.
Anyway. More wine obtained, he settles in the kitchen, armed with a bottle of . . . something and his watch.]
WELL CLARIFY NEXT TIME so what did your eyes meet while fighting said stand user ooh mista ooh nice bullet dodging
well he did have on that crop top i can't blame you the guy was showing them off so how does white album play into this did you make your first move over it?
we were trying to get a piece of information from the boss, who we didn't know was specifically working against us at the time and there was an assassin who came after us, his stand was white album it froze things, past subzero, and well we both almost died honestly but mista kept saying "if i succeed and protect buccellati and you complete the mission, it doesn't matter if i die"
but it mattered to me
i found a way to keep him alive and he understood it, without me saying a word but the only way was for him to get really awfully injured, to freeze his own blood in that stand user's face and give us a chance to kill him
but he did that, he trusted me without question he let himself get that badly wounded and trusted that i wouldn't let him die and i didn't because i told him his life was more important than the mission because the warmth of his heart showed all of us the way to success
[Oh, and he likes that story, he really does. He doesn't know much about Mista, beyond Giorno's cheerful compliments, and hearing a story like this really helps flesh him out. No wonder you like him, he almost says, but then he adds that and of course that's the only important thing he has to respond to.]
did you HAVE to mostly strip him or was it "have" to i'm not going to judge you i just want to know
no subject
i just like pretty people
no subject

i'm pretty much never not looking at somebody
no subject
i mean that's true for me too, or anyone, you can just look even if you're committed to somebody
i guess its weird for me to think about like
both you know?
like the way i learned about it it was one or the other
's interesting
ANYWAY
we dont have to talk about this if you don't want
[He remembers Giorno's frustration regarding explaining his clothing choices; he'd rather not repeat that, no matter how well that talk had gone.]

i was ambitious not dead
no subject
so how does white album play into this
did you make your first move over it?
1/2
anyway no
he almost died
we were trying to get a piece of information from the boss, who we didn't know was specifically working against us at the time
and there was an assassin who came after us, his stand was white album
it froze things, past subzero, and
well we both almost died honestly

he let himself get that badly wounded and trusted that i wouldn't let him die
and i didn't because i told him
his life was more important than the mission
because the warmth of his heart showed all of us the way to success
no subject
technically i made my first move afterwards
no subject
did you HAVE to mostly strip him or was it "have" to
