You look wonderful, too! I've been taking it easy the past couple days--getting some rest in, and all that. Just a real stay-cation, if you will. I'm on hour 6 of being awake, and it's really invigorating!
[He takes a long drink of coffee, holding a finger up to politely pause his speech.]
Funny you should ask, Giorno. I need you to help me catch some frogs.
[...A natural explanation does not seem to be coming.]
While I'm very opposed to animal testing on all fronts, this is different! Since it's spring now--yay--I figured I'd take the time to examine the life cycles of several different specieses of animals, including frogs! They're the easiest ones to track, because they start as tadpoles, and all.
Besides, field work is a great bonding activity! Really fun.
Of course, yes! It would be mean not to. I just have the cages for convenience of getting them back here for study. I miiiight keep some tadpoles, if we find any, but only until they grow a bit more! It's not an intrusive experiment at all.

[This filters through while he's being thrilled that Carlos actually is getting sleep, holy shit. Unprecedented. But he's still mildly puzzled.]
What are the frogs for?

. . . And the bonding. [Which he looks pretty pleased about.]

So, are you in?

[A valuable skill for a mafia don, obviously.]

Alright! Um, usually they're just all down by the river--have you seen any? I know you're better with the outdoors than I am.
