[He does this wicked sweet move that he calls Gasp-Spooncatch-Gaspagain, wherein he gasps, catches the spoon, and — you get it.]

Well, I have to ask Jotaro first. But I figure we can sort of do a tag-team-protection thing. Like--

[He hops up on the counter next to Haruno, legs crossed under him, and sets the ice cream carton between them.]

He'll "attack" a carriage or a car or a girl or whatever, right? Fangs and yowling and all that. And then I come in and defeat him, and suddenly I'm the hero to some hot lady! Who will definitely want to get to know me, because, again, hero, and also because I look courageous and really sexy all at once.

[He says, while setting in to demolish the shit out of this ice cream, holy wow.]

Nothing bad, just the same thing you usually do except more, and better-smelling. It always smells like sweat after you're done heroing.

Because I sweat. We can't all just pop in and out of places, okay.

[He bites on some ice cream and then adds:]

I don't think you can do more. I mean, I stick it up pretty high.

I can always do more, Papa. Honestly.

The donuts are mine, Papa. You wouldn't look nearly as good as me in them anyway!

[No he wouldn't, and they both know it.]

There was a boy chasing me in the woods, so I let him until he fell out of a tree.

Why was he chasing you?

I thought he was just chasing me, but he wanted to give me pudding, as it turns out. So I felt a little bad for leading him up a tree, but not very.

Ahh, I'm sure he's fine.

[That's the least amount of trouble chasing Haruno can come to. Polnareff shrugs.]

Did you get his name?

No, but he was wearing a silly red hood, so I don't think he'll be difficult to find again. That's why I wear what I wear, you know, so if anyone ever needs to find me again they'll know me from a distance.
