He usually never has it out for exactly this reason, that's how.

That's the most useless ability I've ever heard of. And I've met a lot of useless Stands, all right, but that's suicidal.

I hope that I really can help him, in the future. We didn't spend much time together, but it's important to me, and it would be important to the people we lost along the way, too. He's meant to be part of Passione.

When Jotaro and Kakyoin talked the first time, about everything, I brought them pudding as a reward. And I brought one for Star, too, in case it would make him feel left out if I didn't. I wasn't really thinking about it, I'm just used to the Pistols, you know? But he liked it after all.

[He glances over at Gold Experience again. He's got a mouth, yeah, but--]

Does his mouth open? I've never seen Chariot's helmet raise.

[Giorno opens his mouth to reply, but Gold Experience gets there first. He opens his mouth and sticks his tongue out very obediently, then closes it.]

[It's weird as shit to look at, but Giorno just shrugs.]

[He laughs in surprise and delight, terribly pleased by that.]

That's amazing! Ahh-- did you know Kakyoin's stand has a mouth? He gets really touchy if you don't know that.

Not all stands have mouths! Not all stands have eyes, or-- I don't know, anything. I mean, Joseph's stand is just purple vines.

Boh, who cares? That's stupid.

[And, because it's Polnareff and not Jotaro or Kakyoin, it's a little more overtly aggravated than it might otherwise be. But not much.]

[Huh. That's . . . an odd reaction. Polnareff wrinkles his nose at him.]

[Polnareff doesn't know that one, unfortunately, but he tries to remember it to ask Jotaro later.]

[It's noncommittal. He pulls a strand of hair to its full length, then lets it spring back.]

I don't know, I think our personalities would clash. And I have plenty of friends already anyway. I have you, that's enough for anyone.

[He smiles and bumps Giorno's leg with his foot, which means something like thank you and you too all at once.]

Course he'd like you. Everyone ought to like you, and Joseph is usually a good judge of character.

[A beat, and then he adds:]

Did something happen?
