There's a big abandoned place up near the edge of the park, in the northeast part of the city. It's kind of a wreck right now, but there's enough still standing that it might be worth remaking into something worthwhile.

I was thinking exchange student, possibly. I still speak some Japanese, so it would be plausible.

We'll teach you some stuff about the school we go to. Kakyoin's a transfer and I never went much, so you won't need to know a whole lot to sound plausible, Jonathan won't know the difference.

I think that's the best course of action, then. The more complicated a lie is, the easier it is to uncover.

I'm more worried about Mista saying he's in the mafia outright.

It's possible Jonathan might not recognize the word but that won't buy much time.

That could easily happen.

We could say I'm from a politically important family and need protection? But that might just invite more questions.

We could say you came to Japan to get away from the Italian gangs.

It'd explain why you know so much about them, and why Mista wants to act like he's in one. Your parents were worried about bad influences.
