overall play i write giorno manga- and purple haze feedback-compliant and consider phf a part of canon. i'm happy to adjust most aspects of my play to fit in aus, canon fusions, what-if timelines, etc. i play giorno as someone who struggles with his mental health and relationships with others due to his upbringing.

games slow burn, friends to lovers, miscommunication, mutual pining are all good buzzwords for the types of relationships giorno is most likely to get into in games. he's much more likely to take dramatic leaps forward and backward in relationships than to follow a more traditional trajectory. he flirts with almost everyone as a matter of course, but is more likely to get involved in other people's love lives than initiate his own.

psls i'm less married to the idea of a slow burn in psls than in games — obviously. while i do love a long built-up Tension psl very much, i'm far more open to the idea of giorno making an impulsive decision and getting together with someone without thinking about the consequences, or after a dangerous situation resolves and running on adrenaline.

favorite ship narrative beats mutual growth and dependence. codependence. miscommunication. king & lionheart/bodyguard dynamic. learning to communicate about relationships & sex. survivors learning to relax a little together. lines not being entirely clear between friends and lovers.

crosscanon my dream is honestly to ship with p5s, especially akira, but i'll try pretty much any crosscanon ship within an appropriate age range (15-19). he struggles to relate to characters that are very lawful good, but this doesn't mean i wouldn't be down to try a ship like that. similarly, he tends to gravitate to very damaged people, but well-adjusted characters are welcome to apply.
